We are seeking a Program Manager, Strategic Ventures to play a key role in the development and execution of the work of the new Strategic Ventures team for Stanford Medicine. This position is on the Strategic Ventures team and reports to the Director.
Duties include*:
+ Serve as the primary project manager for a number of core team initiatives. Own multi-workstream projects, including developing and maintaining project plans, convening and facilitating stakeholder meetings, tracking deliverables, and ensuring alignment with institutional goals.
+ Serve as a trusted partner to cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, communications, events, operations, strategy, and external partners.
+ Partner with directors and other team leaders to help guide program direction, including managing stakeholder engagement with senior leaders and faculty, and preparing materials for leadership updates and decision-making.
+ Support the incubation of new initiatives by developing frameworks, gathering stakeholder input, and helping move projects from concept to execution.
+ Contribute to event and program design, including faculty workshops, symposia, and leadership forums.
+ Represent the Strategic Ventures team in internal and external meetings, providing clear updates and surfacing issues for resolution.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ A working knowledge of health care industry trends in demographics, policy, science/technology, and economics is valuable, as is experience in academic medical centers
+ Excellent strategic thinking and project management skills.
+ Collaborative approach to problem solving.
+ Ability to prepare executive-level written and oral presentations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
+ Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines.
+ Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tactfulness.
+ Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment, and decision-making skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop and meet budget goals.
+ Demonstrated solid planning and organizational skills.
+ Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
+ Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
+ Strong relevant subject matter knowledge.
+ Ability to direct the work of others, for jobs requiring supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
+ Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
+ Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
+ Occasionally use a telephone.
+ Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
+ May work occasional extended hours or weekends.
+ Travel (between 10-15% of time) may be required depending on number and nature of international projects.

_The expected pay range for this position is $120,038 to $153,486 per annum._
