Product Designer Responsibilities:
1. The Infrastructure Design team creates products that empower everyone at Facebook to connect the world.
2. As a Product Designer in the Analytics team under Data Infrastructure, help Meta employees make data-informed decisions.
3. Handle Data and Trust workflows that are broad and ambiguous in scope and encompass multiple products and features.
4. Deliver concrete end-to-end solutions for high-level problem that help define a product vision.
5. Process Responsibility including for defining roadmaps, figuring out forward paths collaborating with engineers on launching details.
6. Take broad and ambiguous problems and turn them into delightful products that help everyone at Facebook to connect the world.
7. Building and shipping web applications or software at the level of whole features or products across a variety of internal Facebook platforms.
8. Create well defined product goals and make decisions that affect internal users.
9. Design interfaces that are incredibly simple, elegant, and efficient to use.
10. Contribute and drive high-level strategic decisions within the product and executive teams.
11. Scoping and leading high business impact projects that span across multiple product pillars and balance prioritize leadership to drive outcomes for different product teams.
12. Identify critical business needs and user problems by conducting throughout user research to setup success metrics and measurable KPIs.
13. End to end interaction design skills to produce meaningful workflows and delightful user experience.
14. Influence stakeholders through aligning on business priorities using design driven asset and roadmaps.
15. Partner with product managers, engineers, and user researchers to oversee the development of a product from problem definition, concepting to launch.
16. Create a thorough design process with projects that span across interaction and visual design.
17. Conduct, understand and participate in user research and concept testing sessions to identify product gap and find new design directions.
18. Facilitate design workshops with relevant stakeholders.
19. Requires 10% domestic travel.
Minimum Qualifications:

20. Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, Cognitive Science, Graphic Design or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a design related occupation
21. Requires 2 years of experience in the following
22. Overseeing and impacting the product development process from idea to GA using user centric design process such as double diamond process
23. Execute beautiful visual and interaction work using state of the art design tools like Figma
24. Mural, Figjam and Excalidraw for product development
25. Exploratory and generative user research methodology such as contextual inquiry, card sorting and focus groups
26. Coding skills such as React, HTML and CSS
27. Utilize quantitative driven insights such as SQL to analyze user pattern
28. Ability to prototype either alone or with engineering partners to get out of mockups faster using tools such as FramerX, ProtoPie
Public Compensation:
$168,075/year to $183,370/year + bonus + equity + benefits
