This is an excellent opportunity in our Employee Health clinic located in Henry Ford Health West Bloomfield Hospital for a clinician who enjoys combining direct patient care with preventive and population health. The role offers consistent weekday hours, a supportive interdisciplinary team, and the chance to directly impact employee well-being and organizational safety. As part of a growing, systemwide Employee Health program, the selected candidate will have opportunities to help shape processes, contribute to standardization efforts, and collaborate closely with leadership on innovative initiatives across multiple sites.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic Employee Health team dedicated to supporting the well-being, safety, and regulatory compliance of all team members.
+ Responsibilities include providing clinical evaluation and treatment of workplace injuries, managing bloodborne pathogen exposures, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and CDC guidelines.
+ The department also plays a key role in vaccination programs, respirator fit testing, and medical surveillance initiatives.
+ Hours are Monday-Friday 0730-1600 (8 hours) or (10 hours)
+ P rovides Occupational Health Care with the supervision but not necessarily the presence of a qualified physician member of the medical staff.
+ Takes patient history, performs physical examination, orders and interprets tests, makes diagnoses and institutes appropriate treatment programs.
+ Performs nursing functions independently. Works in collaboration with staff physicians, house officers, nurses and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Specific procedures are individually credentialed as indicated by training and experience.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATION:
+ Requires Master's Degree in Nursing; licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner; licensure as a Registered Nurse -OR- Requires a Bachelor's Degree; completion of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program; licensure as a Physician Assistant
+ BCLS certification
+ Qualified candidates should have clinical experience in Employee Health, Occupational Health, or Urgent Care, with strong assessment skills, sound clinical judgment, and a collaborative approach to care. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires both autonomy and teamwork
