    Our **Americas Distribution & Service Division (ADSD)** provides governance and administration of Cat® dealers across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.

     

    As the **Senior Marketing & Sales Operations Consultant (Digital),** you will be responsible for assisting dealerships in achieving digital marketing operational excellence with the Distribution Center of Excellence (DCOE) supporting our Marketing & Sales Excellence Program (MSEP). You will develop a reputation as a subject matter expert in process improvement methodologies that in turn improve marketing operations profitability. You will work to execute digital marketing capability requirements and deploy digital marketing standards with the goal of achieving dealer services growth with retail and small core customers in support of the Enterprise Strategy.

     

    The Distribution Center of Excellence (DCOE) is part of the Americas Distribution & Services Division (ADSD). The DCOE covers operational support in 3 key areas: Parts, Service, and Marketing & Sales (M&S). The primary role of M&S DCOE is to support and enhance Caterpillar’s dealer network, which is a competitive strength and the critical way in which we serve our customers.

     

    The Senior Marketing & Sales Operations Consultant (Digital) will provide proactive, analytical support to facilitate dealer marketing capability achievement and work in close collaboration with the Marketing & Sales Operations Representative (MSOR’s) in territory. This individual will support 23 dealers, 8 MSORs, and 4 Districts in the East Region (Central, Northeast, Southeast & Southern).

    What You Will Do:

    + Assist District evaluation of dealer digital marketing capabilities to drive consistency throughout the assigned region.

    + Partner with Districts to develop and execute action plans for dealer digital marketing capabilities.

    + Support Districts and dealers with strategic engagement and implementation of digital marketing capabilities, with focus on the digital marketing tools and digital marketing online solutions (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) meant to drive enhanced customer engagement and experience.

    + Drive dealer usage of marketing automation tools that allow boosting online customer engagement by providing dynamic digital experiences that trigger personalized customer journeys and monitoring the customer behavior with the goal of increasing the number of active retail customers.

    + Work with Districts and dealers to measure and monitor the effectiveness of their marketing sales funnel through CRM systems, helping them define processes and performance KPIs for a customer-centric marketing approach and maintaining an accurate customer database.

    + Develop deep expertise to advise districts and dealers on process improvement for areas such as customer retention and activation, nurturing campaigns, and marketing leads development and follow through.

    + Evaluate the training needs of field representative and dealer personnel and leverage existing materials and resources to satisfy those training requirements in the digital marketing space.

    + Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time.

    + **Problem Solving:** Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

    + **Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

    + **Customer Focus:** Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

    + **Relationship Management:** Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

    What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):

    + Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business, or related experience in lieu of degree.

    + Knowledge of marketing and sales key concepts and industry strategies.

    + Previous experience working with Caterpillar’s dealer network.

    + Previous company field representative experience.

    + Previous roles held in marketing operations and sales support.

    + Demonstrated ability to work on increasingly more complex assignments and provide direction to less experienced team members on project assignments.

    Summary Pay Range:

    $126,000.00 - $189,000.00

     

    Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
