Information Rights Management (IRM) Service Delivery Lead
Role Definition:
Caterpillar must ensure market differentiating intellectual property is appropriately secured with an optimized security posture and our Cybersecurity Team is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Data Protection team. In this role you will have the opportunity to use analytics and automation to help protect against cybersecurity threats. You will be part of a dynamic team, working and interacting with other groups across Cybersecurity and Enterprise IT.
The person who fills this position will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and driving all technical aspects of Caterpillar’s Digital Rights Management (DRM) solutions. They will be expected to work with internal process partners to ensure DRM meets their various use cases and work with solution vendors to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Process automation skills are an essential aspect of this role. The incumbent must be an expert in using process automation technologies and languages to interconnect systems and automate otherwise manual processes. Upward advancement opportunities are available for an incumbent who requires minimal work direction and demonstrates a significant amount of initiative, accountability, ability to innovate, and is business savvy. The incumbent will also regularly present to senior leadership regarding the affairs and improvement opportunities within their scope of responsibilities
What You Will Do:
+ Serve as enterprise subject matter expert for DRM within Caterpillar
+ Work with internal process partners to ensure Caterpillar’s enterprise DRM solutions are technically optimized and function as intended.
+ Collaborate with internal Caterpillar process partners to implement new DRM related use cases.
+ Work with Cybersecurity leadership to optimize the value Caterpillar is receiving from its DRM-related investments.
+ Partner with team members to improve Caterpillar’s security posture and provide mentoring to junior team members.
+ Build and evaluate DRM policies within Microsoft Information Protection (MIP).
+ Perform use case testing with DRM solutions, such as MIP.
+ Perform case migrations between multiple DRM solutions.
What You Have:
+ Direct experience deploying/supporting Microsoft Information Protection (MIP).
+ Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
+ A high degree of initiative and accountability.
+ A willingness to continuously learn and improve one’s skills and abilities.
+ A respect for organizational change processes and communication.
+ Experience scripting with PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, Graph API
+ Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

+ Experience configuring/supporting Fortra Vera
+ Familiarity with compliance frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, CMMC
+ Technical Certifications: SANS, or ICS2 Certifications

+ Knowledge of tools, techniques, approaches, and processes of cybersecurity risk management; ability to ensure organizational network operation and minimize negative effect by cybersecurity risks.
Information Security Management:
+ Knowledge of the processes, tools, and techniques of information security management; ability to deploy and monitor information security systems, while detecting, controlling, and preventing violations of IT security.
Information Technology (IT) Security Policies:
+ Knowledge of IT security policies, standards, and procedures; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to ensure cyber security compliance.
Requirements Analysis:
+ Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

+ The primary location for this position is Irving, TX, Peoria, IL or Nashville, TN.

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $155,400.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
