Job description
Position Summary:
The Engineering Admin I is responsible for providing overall assistance and support to the Engineering Department and Document Control Department. The Engineering Admin I reports to and works closely with the Document Control / Engineering Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support Engineers, Engineering Managers, Project Engineers and Certification
• Maintain manpower budget spreadsheet
• Backup to Document Control: Release Engineering Drawings/Documents, assign drawing numbers and ADCNs, run MDL reports and includes on-call rotation schedule (occasional nights, weekends, holidays)
• Concur Travel Admin -Coordinate / book travel for the Engineering Department/Cert Department, Track Engineering Comp Time and Assist Engineering department in creation and completion of Expense Reports
• Bi-weekly Timesheet Collection: Collect/organize and approve paper Engineering / Certification timesheets
• Assign Charge Codes to Engineers and Certification Staff
• Back up for Maintaining Engineering Organization Org Chart
• Maintain Internal Engineering Calendar
• Vendor Data Management
• Backup Admin for AirbusWorld and MyBoeingFleet online Platforms, trouble shoot and create new accounts and delete old accounts as needed
• Office Supply ordering for Engineering and Certification departments
• USB/Diskette/Label creation for CSS Database files for customer distribution
• Audit Released Project Folders for outdated revision levels
• Miscellaneous Spreadsheet maintenance
• Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Candidate skills & requirements
Knowledge/Experience
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• An Associate's degree is preferred.
• 1 – 3 years' of progressive administrative experience is required.
• 1 - 2 years' of progressive experience in document control, preferred (i.e. Engineering Change Control, Engineering Change Requests, Engineering Change Notice Systems)
Skills/Abilities
• Proven ability to anticipate needs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Visio)
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Troubleshooting/problem solving.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task effectively, and work under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
• Ability to work with all levels of employees/management.
Working Conditions:
• Ability to work occasional overtime hours during evening and weekends, based on release schedules.
• Ability to be on call during scheduled periods.

Hourly $18.17/hr - $28.56/hr ($37,800 - $59,400 Annual)
