Chevron is accepting online applications for the position **Solution Architect - SAP Logistics (Transportation & Manufacturing)** through **November 14th, 2025** at **11:59 p.m.** (Central Time).
As a Solution Architect specializing in SAP S/4 modules such as Transportation Management, Process Manufacturing, and Quality Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Chevron’s logistics, manufacturing processes including end to end carbon management. You’ll leverage the latest SAP technologies to design and deliver innovative solutions. This hands-on architect position requires you to work closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced program environment to drive successful outcomes.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
+ Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction, architecture, and support for all aspects of SAP Transportation Management, Process Manufacturing, and Quality Management. By proven ability to drive solution blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, and functional design. Experience integrating SAP TM with other key areas such as: SAP Event Management, PI/PO, or SAP GTS is highly desirable.
+ System Enhancements: Identify, design, and implement enhancements to the SAP Logistics module(s), ensuring continued alignment with evolving business requirements. Ability to influence and deliver with SAP product development and 3rd party integrators on product roadmaps
+ Strong understanding of industry-specific logistics (e.g. Oil and Gas manufacturing and value chain areas).
+ Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and complex SAP projects.
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, articulating technical concepts and solution options clearly and effectively
Required Qualifications:
+ 10+ years of hands-on SAP experience, with at least 5+ years focused on SAP TM (9.x or S/4HANA Embedded).
+ Strong software engineering background, with prior roles such as Senior Software Engineer, Senior Application Engineer, or similar technical positions supporting SAP ECC and S4 applications
+ Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in computer science or management information systems
+ SAP Certifications in S/4
+ Experience with Energy and carbon management systems
