Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a pivotal executive leader responsible for the financial health and strategic direction of Mobile Health. The CFO will be a hands-on leader of all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury, tax, and risk management. The CFO is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, with the ability to drive financial performance and sustainable growth. They are a key partner to the CEO and the Board of Directors, providing critical financial insights and guidance to support business decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
+ Develop and present comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to the executive team and Board.
+ Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
+ Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive leadership team.
+ ·Lead financial due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
+ Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, recommending proactive measures.
+ Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
+ Oversee the development of annual budgets, long-range financial forecasts, and strategic plans.
+ Monitor financial performance against plans, identifying variances and driving corrective actions.
+ Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support key business decisions, including pricing, product development, and operational efficiency.
Technology and Financial Systems
+ Evaluate, select, and implement leading financial technology solutions to continually enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and analytical capabilities of the finance function.
+ Champion the adoption of best-in-class financial systems and processes to enable real-time financial reporting, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Accounting & Reporting:
+ Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial reporting, adhering to GAAP/IFRS standards.
+ Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
+ Manage external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors.
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Treasury & Cash Management:
+ Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital effectively.
+ Oversee banking relationships and optimize treasury operations.
+ Manage debt and equity financing activities, optimizing capital structure.
Risk Management & Internal Controls:
+ Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
+ Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
+ Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and corporate governance best practices.
Revenue Cycle Management
+ Oversee and optimize all aspects of the revenue cycle.
+ Align financial strategy with the complexities of healthcare reimbursement across commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, and self-pay populations.
Team Leadership & Development:
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
+ Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth within the finance department.
+ Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback to direct reports.

+ Strong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
+ Knowledge of occupational health a plus
Education and Experience
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
+ Master's degree (MBA) and/or professional certification (CPA, CFA) highly preferred.
+ Fifteen (15)+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least five (5) years in a senior leadership role (e.g., VP of Finance, Controller, or CFO), preferably in healthcare.
+ CPA License a plus
+ Exceptional experience in leading, motivating and developing finance teams, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
+ Understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including fee-for-service and value-based payment models.
+ Proven ability to align financial strategy with the complexities of healthcare reimbursement across commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, and self-pay population preferred
+ Proven track record of driving financial performance and contributing to strategic growth.
+ Deep expertise in financial planning, analysis, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), treasury, and risk management.
+ Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and investment strategies.
+ Proven experience in leveraging and optimizing 'best-of-breed' financial technology, including advanced ERP systems, FP&A software, and business intelligence platforms, to drive strategic insights and operational excellence.
