KBR, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master to support the Air Force’s Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Division. This role will be responsible for providing expert-level test and evaluation guidance on this complex program. This role will serve as the acquisition test manager responsible for developing, establishing and implementing technical aspects of a project/program through designated phases of the acquisition cycle for which no closely related precedents exist. The objective of this role is to support the Digital Infrastructure Branch in the form of developing, producing, and sustaining material for multiple DOD customers.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and Scrum practices
+ Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
+ Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
+ Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
+ Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
+ Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
+ Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
+ Support the product owner and provide education where needed
+ Engage with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and provide updates to government and contractor teams.
+ Build, maintain, and support Jira and Confluence Boards.
Work Environment:
+ Location: Fully remote with occasional presence in Beavercreek, Ohio
+ Travel Requirements: Less than 10%
+ Working Hours: Standard – Core hours 0800 - 1600
Qualifications:
Required
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
+ 5+ years of experience in Scrum Master with a specific focus on Air Force acquisition programs or similar DoD systems.
+ Secret clearance with Top Secret, SCI Eligibility
+ Prior experience on a scrum team
+ Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
+ Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
+ Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
+ Experience with successful Agile techniques
+ Ability to work with and lead a team
+ Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
+ Ability to adapt to a changing environment
+ Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
+ 3+ years of experience with Jira
+ 3+ years of experience with Confluence
Desired:
+ Minimum of 2 years' experience in Special Access and/or SCI programs.
+ Demonstrated ability to work well independently or as a team member.
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate with technical and non-technical project teams.
