    AMS Support & Maintenance

+ Provide advanced L2/L3-level support for ancillary Epic applications across multiple AMS clients.

+ Troubleshoot complex cross-module issues, including order transmission, charge capture, and result routing across ancillary workflows.

+ Maintain application stability, perform proactive monitoring, and implement optimizations to improve end-user satisfaction and performance.

+ Participate in upgrade readiness planning, regression testing, and version migration efforts.

+ Manage incident and request queues within AMS SLAs, ensuring timely and thorough resolution.

+ Support integration validation between Epic and third-party systems (PACS, LIS, Pharmacy Automation, or CVIS).

Subject Matter Expertise & Client Advisory

+ Serve as the Epic Ancillary SME, offering guidance on build standards, workflow design, and module-specific best practices.

+ Provide product insight regarding Epic’s Ancillary roadmap, capabilities, and limitations to inform client decision-making.

+ Collaborate with clinical, imaging, laboratory, and pharmacy stakeholders to align configuration with operational needs and compliance standards.

+ Contribute to RFP responses, solution design sessions, and new business development by lending expert-level ancillary application insight.

+ Support expansion and optimization initiatives that align with client growth and service line expansion goals.

    Collaboration & Delivery Excellence

+ Partner with Epic AMS Leads, Project Managers, and cross-module analysts (Orders, ClinDoc, MyChart, etc.) to deliver seamless AMS service and integration.

+ Participate in governance and client review meetings, presenting issue trends, system performance metrics, and enhancement opportunities.

+ Mentor and guide junior analysts to strengthen the AMS team’s technical depth and service consistency.

+ Contribute to internal AMS toolkits, reusable configuration templates, and playbooks that drive delivery efficiency.

    Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Radiologic Technology, Pharmacy, or related field (or equivalent experience).

+ Minimum 5+ years of Epic build, support, and optimization experience within one or more ancillary modules (Radiant, Cupid, Beaker, Willow).

+ Additional certifications in Orders or ClinDoc preferred.

+ Deep understanding of ancillary workflows and integration points with clinical and operational Epic modules.

+ Proven experience in order routing, result reporting, charge capture, and interface troubleshooting.

+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail.

+ Ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and environments in a consulting or AMS model.
