Overview

Helio Health is seeking a dependable task-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our team. If you excel at multi-tasking and have a passion for learning, this role is for you. You will conduct sensitive investigations of abuse, neglect, and complaints, ensuring all parties feel heard and respected. Your responsibilities will include supporting our internal Compliance department, following up on patient grievances, and collaborating with internal departments and leadership. Pay Rate:$57,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

+ Conducts internal investigations and reviews, specifically to ensure compliance regarding fraud and abuse.

+ Assist with Helio Health’s efforts to comply with investigations conducted by external parties.

+ Interacts frequently with regulatory agencies.

+ Prepares and carries out compliance trainings.

+ Assists with the documentation and tracking of Compliance Hotline calls.

+ Conducts routine and risk based internal audits.

Qualifications

+ Associate's degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

+ Previous healthcare related compliance auditing experience preferred.

+ Must possess a valid New York State driver’s license for periodic travel to regional programs.

+ Must be comfortable utilizing a variety of Microsoft software including but not limited to Teams, SharePoint, Whiteboard, Excel. With additional ability to learn and adapt to programs used by clinical and administrative programs.
