About the Role

The **Packaging Specialist** is responsible for the accurate and efficient packing and repacking of meat products. You’ll play a key role in ensuring all packaging meets quality and safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

+ Pack and repack meat products according to company standards and specifications

+ Measure, weigh, and count products and materials

+ Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools

+ Inspect and verify containers, materials, and products to ensure correct packaging and labeling

+ Load materials and products into processing or packaging equipment

+ Mark and label containers or products using appropriate tools

+ Record product and order information accurately on designated forms

+ Remove completed or defective items and place them in designated areas or conveyors

+ Clean containers, materials, tools, and work areas to maintain sanitation standards

+ Seal containers using adhesives, fasteners, or hand tools

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to lift up to **50 lbs** regularly

+ Ability to work in a **cold environment**

+ Standing, bending, and repetitive motions throughout the shift
