We are currently seeking a ITSS-Product Owner to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).

    Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Product Owner to lead product planning, requirement gathering, and backlog management within a SAFe Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of translating business needs into actionable user stories, collaborating closely with development and QA teams, and driving successful product delivery.

The Product Owner will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business value is maximized while maintaining alignment with organizational strategy and customer needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle — from ideation, backlog prioritization, and sprint planning to release management and stakeholder alignment.

+ Translate business needs and customer feedback into well-defined user stories and clear acceptance criteria.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, UX, and Business Analysts) to deliver high-quality features on time.

+ Partner with business stakeholders to collect, document, and refine requirements into actionable backlog items.

+ Ensure the SAFe Agile principles are applied effectively across Program Increment (PI) planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.

+ Maintain a prioritized product backlog, balancing technical debt, feature enhancements, and new functionality.

+ Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, providing clarity and ensuring alignment with business priorities.

+ Validate deliverables against business goals and acceptance criteria, ensuring quality and functionality meet stakeholder expectations.

+ Collaborate with QA to establish clear testable acceptance criteria and ensure successful UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer feedback to inform continuous product improvement.

    Required Qualifications:

+ 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in Agile environments.

+ 5+ years of hands-on experience working in a SAFe Agile framework, participating in PI planning, sprint execution, and release coordination.

+ 6+ years of experience in collecting and documenting business requirements, ensuring alignment between business and technical teams.

+ 5+ years of experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with business and engineering teams.

+ 5+ years of experience working closely with development teams to clarify requirements, prioritize work, and remove blockers.

+ 4+ years of experience collaborating with QA teams to define testable acceptance criteria, validate feature functionality, and support UAT.

+ 5+ years of experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs, ensuring transparency and effective stakeholder communication.

+ 3+ years of experience using Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Rally, or VersionOne.

+ 6+ years of Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.

+ 6+ years of Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).

    Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience working in large-scale enterprise Agile environments with multiple teams or ARTs (Agile Release Trains).

+ Familiarity with data-driven decision-making, customer analytics, and product performance metrics.

+ Experience managing digital transformation or platform modernization initiatives.

+ Proven success in delivering products in industries such as Finance, Healthcare, or Technology.

+ SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
