The Systems Analyst IV applies technical expertise to automated system products through all phases of the system development life cycle including the design, development, implementation, modification, planning, estimating, feasibility testing and evaluation of automated systems. A caregiver in this position works remotely out of Ohio, Florida, or Nevada, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with on-call requirements two times per month.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Maintain IT products, including planning and obtaining customer input and a knowledge of the existing functionality and limitations.
+ Serve as the technical expertise providing guidance and direction to other professional staff and resolving complex problems; participates in developing strategic plans for systems/applications development and modification within area of expertise.
+ Review system requirements with customers and translates requirements into specific functions or deliverables.
+ Analyze low chart processes and recommend ways to reduce steps and increase efficiency through technology.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Bachelor's degree in information technology/computer science, Health Sciences, Healthcare Admin, or related field.
+ For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within six months of the position start date.
+ Six years of system implementation experience, including directing, planning, and scheduling a major information system project.
+ OR High School Diploma / GED or equivalent and nine years of experience.
+ OR Associate's Degree and seven years of experience.
+ Strong analytical, administrative, presentation, and project management skills.
+ Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work independently.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Understanding of change management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, ServiceNow, etc.)
+ Strong understanding of Epic upgrade cycles, release notes, and SU processes.
+ Strong understanding of Epic release management best practices, including build migration, and environment refreshes.
+ Experience with Epic release notes and release management tools (e.g., Nova, Sherlock, etc.)
+ Experience coordinating system refreshes, patching, and environment cloning in collaboration with infrastructure teams.
+ Ability to oversee data integrity, system stability, and performance monitoring during environment transitions.
+ Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate multi-application releases across multiple teams.
+ Skilled at risk management, mitigation planning, downtime coordination, and rollback strategies.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and clinical stakeholders.
+ Proven ability to work with Epic Technical Services, Application Analysts, DBAs, Network Engineers, Testing Coordinators, and Operations.
+ Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and incident resolutions skills.
+ Experience leading "Go/No-Go" meetings and presenting release readiness updates to Leadership.
+ Ability to translate technical environment constraints into business impacts for Leadership.
+ Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies.
+ Familiarity with Epic environments and branching strategies (e.g., project vs. upgrade vs. production)
+ Experience administering and supporting Epic Environments (production, non-production, training, etc.)
+ Knowledge of testing frameworks and release sign-off practices.
+ Direct experience with Epic Hyperdrive/Hyperspace, Interconnect, Bridges, Chronicles, Clarity/Caboodle, and related modules.

Physical Requirements:
+ Requires the ability to sit and be stationary for prolonged periods of time, normal or corrected vision and manual dexterity sufficient to perform work on a personal computer.
+ Requires the ability to walk to various locations throughout the Foundation and to function in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $40.48
Maximum hourly: $61.74
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
