    Lodi Community Hospital is looking to add a Department Manager to the team who will oversee Nutrition Services. In this role, you will collaborate in planning, workflow analysis, procedure changes, scheduling and related administrative duties as well as supervise and control annual budgets. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous leadership experience who has a desire to work in Nutrition Services. Registered Dieticians, Diet Technicians and those with healthcare experience are encouraged to apply. This role requires someone who has passion and purpose in leadership.     A caregiver in this position works** **days from 7:00AM - 3:30PM.

    A caregiver who excels in this role will:

    + Manage department operations and personnel.

    + Complete staffing, training, workflow analysis and performance management.

    + Manage staffing to ensure appropriate allocation and compliance with goals and objectives.

    + Monitor quality and financial performance.

    + Ensure compliance with government health regulations, JCAHO guidelines, quality requirements and customer service standards.

    + Recommend enhancement and cost saving strategies.

    + Resolve interdepartmental issues to ensure consistency in quality, procedure and policy application.

    + Develop, monitor and implement programs to enhance customer service, develop skills and improve scope of service.

    + Analyze programs and make improvements.

    + Participate in meetings and relevant committees as assigned by Director.

    Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

    + Associate's degree and three years of team lead, supervisory or management experience

    + OR High School diploma/GED and five years of experience

    + OR Bachelor's degree and one year of experience

    Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

    + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field

    + Healthcare experience

    + ServSafe Certified - if you do not hold this certification, you will need to obtain it within 45 days of hire

    + Registered Dietitian or Certified Diet Technician

    + County and State Health Department experience

    + Experience working in a hospital setting

    Physical Requirements:

    + Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

    + Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

    + Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

    + Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    + Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.

     

    Pay Range

     

    Minimum hourly: $27.65

     

    Maximum hourly: $42.17

A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
