Job Summary and Qualifications:
The Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) Educator is responsible for collaborating with the MSO and PSS team for training /onboarding new providers, providing at the elbow support for day to day CPOE needs, providing provider updates and refreshers, monitoring CPOE and documentation compliance, reviewing order sets and overseeing new technology. The CPOE Educator should have:
+ Effective oral and written communication skills
+ Proficiency with computer technology
+ Ability to work well with others in a team environment
+ Flexibility in the event that a provider needs assistance on the weekend
+ A skill level that will allow them to provide coverage in the absence of the Director of Clinical Informatics or Manager of Clinical Informatics
What you will do in this role:
+ You will onboard new providers to the facility
+ You will remediate at risk providers
+ You will assist nursing and ancillary departments with order entry functionality
+ You will collaborate with physicians and mid-level providers to correct complete medical record deficiencies
+ You will provide orientation, consultation, and at the elbow support for all medical providers and midlevel providers
+ You will assist in the implementation of any new projects involving the Clinical Informatics Department
+ You will track CPOE and other Clinical Informatic metrics
What qualifications you will need:
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support
+ (RN) Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years of experience
+ Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
