    Merrimack Health Methuen Hospital is offering a sign on bonus of up to $6,000 for the Mental Health Associate role

     

    At Merrimack Health Methuen Hospital, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $18.13 to $26.96 hourly, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.

     

    Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.

    Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units: cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

    Position Summary:

    The Mental Health Associate (MHA) is responsible for performing duties necessary to maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu. Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, the MHA will assist the nurse with care of patients whose needs do not require complex nursing skills.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Education: High School Graduate or GED.

    + Experience: Experience or training in the mental health or medical field preferred.

    + Certification/Licensure:

    + BLS

    + COAP within 30 days of onboarding

    + Other: Must be able to successfully clear a background check, including a criminal search. Use or possession of a firearm and/or other weapons is prohibited.
