Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Patient Account Representative
As a Patient Account Representative at MercyOne, you will with a high degree of accuracy and patient satisfaction, aid patients/guardians/guarantors in resolving past due balances. Reviews accounts for billing and payment accuracy, including past contacts with the patient, prior to contacting the guarantor through letters and phone calls. Counsel's guarantors in setting up payment plans and applying for financial assistance. Reviews accounts for submission to a collection agency and refers accounts to the providers for review. Works with the claim specialists and clinic staff to resolve any barriers that may be hindering

Schedule:
+ Day Shift
+ Part time .2 (8 hours per week)
General Requirements
+ Training Preferred: ICD and CPT code knowledge. Medical front office, customer services.
+ Special Training: Customer Service Experience; Word processing at 40 WPM; Basic Life Support.
+ More than 1 year experience required.
Education:
+ High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
