The primary role of the Environmental Services Lead is to perform tasks and assume responsibilities that provide assistance to the Environmental Supervisor in all aspects of department operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs general housekeeping and floor care duties. Assists the Supervisor with functions including but not limited to planning, scheduling, recruitment, training, paperwork, staff oversight, inventory, ordering, and special projects. Provides supervision and assistance at the off-campus sites. Coordinates with Supervisor and shares responsibility for the cleanliness of the buildings.
EDUCATION CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior Environmental Services and supervisory experience preferred. Ability to develop effective supervisory skills required. Also has floor care experience.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques preferred. Ability to use cleaning equipment required.
**Pay Range:** $17.85 - $21.76
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
