The College of Pharmacy is looking for a Program Specialist to serve as a member of the Office of Experiential Education team. Essential Duties/Tasks
Programming
+ Research and monitor student compliance with rotation hours, assignment completion, and site requirements for clinical experiences by pulling and analyzing reports from compliance systems. Verify accuracy of records, compile findings into clear reports and communicate with students and preceptors regarding issues and non-compliance. Communicate with preceptors regarding unverified hours, evaluations, and coursework.
• Recognize potential operational risks of non-compliance and make appropriate recommendations based on documentation and relevant facts.
+ Assist the Office of Experiential Education (OEE) and faculty and staff, when required, by providing administrative support.
+ Maintain visibility and be approachable to all students, faculty, administrators, preceptors and other stakeholders.
+ Handle routine correspondence and serve as a liaison with students, preceptors, sites and key stakeholders without direct supervision.
• Prepare and retain operation, fiscal, and other records/reports for the OEE.
+ Assist with execution and maintenance of business affiliations and partnerships with potential and established preceptors, while exhibiting a professional and positive image for the College.
+ Attend meetings and conferences as needed.
OEE Support
+ Participates in cross-training within the Office of Experiential Education and provides backup support for scheduling, onboarding, and placement of IPPE and APPE students. Assist with Coordination of Preceptor CE Programming by communicating with CE accrediting partners and contributing faculty, staff, and preceptors.
+ Oversee transmission of CE course participation information to CE accrediting partners and troubleshoots any issues.
+ Answer the phone for the OEE, while maintaining an attitude that fosters teamwork and providing effective office, College, HSC and University-wide cooperation.
+ Assist in the day-to-day operations of OEE.
+ Collect OEE Newsletter items and stories to prepare for publication.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ No prior experience required

+ Ability to work as a team member, independently, and without close supervision.
