As a **Armed Security Professional -** **Resource Center** in **Las Vegas, NV** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, responding professionally to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and support a secure environment.

+ Monitor for unusual activity and report any incidents or suspicious behavior in accordance with established protocols.

+ Maintain a visible presence to assist in helping to deter potential threats within the government facility.

+ Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when required, following all relevant procedures.

+ Document all activities, observations, and incidents in a timely and accurate manner.

+ Carry authorized firearms in accordance with company policies and all applicable laws, demonstrating responsible handling at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ **Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.**

+ Must possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
