As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a retail location. Your presence and keen observation skills will support a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This position involves primarily driving responsibilities as you monitor assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help address concerns promptly. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Observe, monitor, and report any suspicious activity or circumstances to management and/or law enforcement as required.

+ Interact professionally with visitors, customers, and staff to provide assistance and information as needed.

+ Follow all Allied Universal training and procedures specific to the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
