Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and fabrication industry, is seeking a dedicated Fabrication Associate to join their team. As a Fabrication Associate, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the plastics fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Fabrication Associate

**Location:** Washougal, WA

**Pay Range:** $24

**Shift:** Days (07:30-16:00)

What's the Job?

+ Sawing and fabricating various sizes and types of plastic fittings, structures, and miscellaneous items in the plastics fabrication shop.

+ Operating hand and hydraulic fusion welding equipment along with various hand tools such as chain saws, radial arm saws, band saws, and grinders.

+ Assembling fusion or extrusion welded fittings for Municipal, Industrial, and Commercial industries.

+ Reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints to ensure precise fabrication and assembly.

+ Maintaining a strong focus on safety by adhering to PPE requirements and following First-In-Safety standards at all times.

What's Needed?

+ Some construction or mechanical experience is required.

+ Ability to read drawings or blueprints accurately.

+ Basic computer skills are preferred.

+ Physical ability to lift, load, and maneuver pipes and fittings into welding machines.

+ Strong math skills for layout and dimension verification, with the ability to measure within 1/8 inch.
