WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Director, Planning Capabilities, Global leads a high-impact team of 7. This role partners cross-functionally with Supply Chain Planning & Innovation (SCPI), integrates into the SCPO Offense, and collaborates with Planning, Supply Chain, Technology and Analytics teams to drive planning capability development across Nike’s Athlete* Promise. Additionally, this role will partner across our Global and Geo Planning Teams to ensure successful activations and sustaining success of our Planning Capabilities. The Director reports to the Senior Director of Planning Capabilities and collaborates with leaders and stakeholders across the enterprise.

Key Qualifications:
+ 10+ years’ experience in supply chain planning, capability development, or related fields
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
+ Proven experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects
+ Strong business acumen, process excellence, and program management skills
+ Expertise in change management, stakeholder relations, and communications
+ Demonstrated ability to develop others, manage conflict, and value differences
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As Director, you will lead the development, deployment, and sustainment of planning capabilities, processes, and playbooks. You will drive the next evolution of planning, influence investment decisions, and ensure alignment with Nike’s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for capability conception, process design, training, user testing, change management, and communications, as well as post-stabilization transition to business owners.
Core Responsibilities:
+ Lead the Planning Capabilities team, setting strategy, priorities, and goals aligned to Nike’s global objectives
+ Influence and partner with SCPI on planning innovation opportunities, research, and pilots/POCs
+ Drive planning portfolio and capability roadmaps within SCPO Offense
+ Oversee capability development: business case creation, value stream mapping, process engineering, and transition management
+ Manage training, user acceptance testing, and adoption of new processes/tools
+ Develop and communicate playbooks, process maps, and stakeholder engagement strategies
+ Measure and report on value delivered, including financial impact, adoption, and user satisfaction
+ Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement
