Parker Lord’s Dayton facility manufactures passive vibration mounts for commercial and military aerospace applications. Position Summary
+ Performs routine administrative and clerical functions under general supervision to support administrative, Leadership, Human Resources, and cross-functional teams.
+ Completes tasks such as typing, filing, copying, transmitting data, ordering office supplies, scheduling appointments, and answering phones.
+ Administers and performs daily management of site visitor system, including entry into the system, verification that invitations have been sent, supporting check-in onsite if pre-registration was not completed, and weekly communication to site on anticipated visitors.
+ Coordinates meeting and lunch requests, including ordering, set-up, and additional support as required.
+ Arrange interview schedules, information packets, drug screens, employment tests, and background checks for prospective employees; prepare employee files, sign-in/orientation packet for new employees, and other related administrative tasks for new hires
+ Utilize the HRIS System with respect to documenting applicants, hires, separations and transfers. Use information in these systems to obtain information for monthly reports
+ Support Engagement Team initiatives and We Said, We Did Action Items
+ Print and post bulletin board information
+ Build and maintain good rapport with all internal and external customers
+ All other duties as required
Essential Job Functions
+ Demonstrated administrative, reception, and customer service skills, preferably in a fast-paced working environment.
+ Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize with changing situations on a regular basis with a high sense of urgency.
+ Ability to recognize and solve typical problems and select solutions from established options.
+ Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
+ Ability to complete tasks timely and with a high degree of accuracy.
+ Strong customer relations skills to support daily interactions and positive engagement with both internal and external customers.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word for drafting communications, letters, memos; Outlook for email & conference room scheduling and resource management, PowerPoint slide preparation for presentations, and Excel for general reporting and tracking.
Qualifications
Education
Required
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred
+ Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field
Years Experience
+ 3 years of human resources, administrative or customer service experience within a fast-paced work environment
