Our client, a leader in aerospace engineering and propulsion systems, is seeking a **Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer** to join their dynamic team. **Job Title:** Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer
**Location:** Phoenix, AZ
**Pay Range:** $55.77/hr
What's the Job?
+ Design and analyze complex gas turbine engine rotor systems using advanced finite element methods
+ Provide technical oversight and guidance to global engineering teams across different time zones
+ Conduct static structural and fatigue analyses to ensure reliability and safety of aerospace turbomachine components
+ Communicate technical findings effectively through reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders
+ Participate in design reviews, process improvements, and root cause analysis to enhance product performance
What's Needed?
+ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience performing static structural and fatigue analyses for aerospace turbomachine applications
+ Proficiency in linear static, nonlinear/elasto-plastic, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, shock, harmonic, random vibration, and crack growth analyses
+ Strong working knowledge of ANSYS finite element software and classical hand calculation methods
+ Excellent communication skills in English to deliver technical reports and presentations clearly and efficiently
