Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and manufacturing industry, is seeking a Contingent Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Contingent Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the distribution and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety awareness, effective communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Forklift Operator

**Location:** Independence, OR

Pay Range: 18.50

**Shift:** First

What's the Job?

+ Perform safety checks on forklifts and ensure they are in proper working condition

+ Move, locate, and stack merchandise safely around the facility

+ Operate stretch-wrappers and manage palletized inventory efficiently

+ Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment

+ Read and interpret shipping documents and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

What's Needed?

+ Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

+ Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including hot, cold, and rainy weather

+ Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions

+ Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays
