**Job Title:** Accounts Payable Associate
**Location:** Loveland, CO (Hybrid – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
**Contract Length:** 9 months, with opportunity for extension
**Hourly Rate:** $26–27/hour
Position Summary:
The Finance team is seeking an **Accounts Payable Associate** to provide effective business support in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, work collaboratively, and manage a high volume of accounts payable tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Enter invoices into the system and perform three-way matching.
+ Manage invoices on hold, ensuring timely payment to suppliers.
+ Reconcile and work with monthly supplier statements.
+ Collaborate with buyers to confirm receipt of items and resolve payment issues.
+ Complete daily tasks to meet KPIs and departmental goals.
+ Monitor and respond to accounts payable email inboxes, including external supplier inquiries.
+ Research discrepancies via JIRA tickets when invoices cannot be matched.
+ Assist with other team tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED required; additional experience in AP or accounting strongly preferred.
+ Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts and processes.
+ Strong computer skills, including Excel and word processing.
+ Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to think critically.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and ask questions when clarification is needed.
Work Environment:
+ Hybrid setup: Three days in-office (Monday and Thursday fixed, plus one chosen day) and two days remote.
+ Office provides laptop, monitors, keyboard, and mouse; a designated workspace is required for remote work.
+ Indoor office with good ventilation, adequate lighting, and low noise levels.
Physical Demands:
+ Frequent sitting and standing at a desk; occasional reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or walking.
+ Constant use of hands for typing and handling objects.
+ Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
+ Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Additional Information:
+ Transitioning to Oracle Fusion; current AP process involves manual entry with an expected high volume of invoices and weekly payouts averaging $4M to suppliers.
+ Ideal candidate is proactive, able to handle high-volume AP, and can troubleshoot issues with the buying team to ensure supplier payments.
