Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to join their team. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be part of the Manufacturing & Compliance Department supporting the maintenance and operational efficiency of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Industrial Mechanic

**Location:** Alachua, FL

Pay Range: $28-35 DOE

Shift: Monday - Friday day shift

What's the Job?

+ Coordinate daily and planned maintenance activities to ensure smooth operations.

+ Develop and assist in creating maintenance policies and procedures for safe and efficient operations.

+ Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general plant systems.

+ Install, maintain, and upgrade equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.

+ Participate in safety programs and contribute to a safe working environment for all team members.

What's Needed?

+ High School Diploma or GED with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

+ Knowledge of trade fundamentals, including repairs on pumps, mixers, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drives.

+ Skills in electrical systems, including basic PLC troubleshooting, with advanced mechanical knowledge preferred.

+ Certification in welding and forklift operation required.

+ Ability to work in elevated locations and confined spaces, with physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds.
