Our client, a leading manufacturing organization dedicated to producing high-quality components, is seeking a Saw Operator to join their team. As a Saw Operator, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

+ Operate various saws to cut materials according to detailed specifications.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine precise cutting requirements.

+ Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment, including changing blades for different materials to ensure optimal performance.

+ Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times.

What's Needed?

+ Proven experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.

+ Strong mechanical knowledge with troubleshooting skills for equipment issues.

+ Ability to read a tape measure and use a square accurately.

+ Must be capable of minor welding to hold stock together when cutting multiple pieces.

+ Ability to operate a forklift and unload trucks as needed.
