Our client, a leading organization in the medical device industry, is seeking a Engineer, Software Quality - Senior or Lead to join their team. As a Engineer, Software Quality - Senior or Lead, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting software verification, validation, and risk management activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Engineer, Software Quality - Senior or Lead

**Location:** Pleasanton, CA

What's the Job?

+ Execute and maintain software quality engineering methodologies across projects.

+ Collaborate with Design and Test Engineering teams to complete system/software requirements and verification processes.

+ Review software validation protocols traceable to system/software requirements.

+ Participate in meetings and provide guidance on software events, defects, or anomalies.

+ Drive the completion and maintenance of risk analysis focused on software-related risks.

What's Needed?

+ BS degree in Engineering or Technical Field or equivalent experience.

+ At least 5 years of Quality Engineering experience.

+ Detailed knowledge of FDA QSR, IEC 62304, and ISO 13485 standards.

+ Advanced computer skills, including data analysis and report writing.

+ Prior experience in medical device or IVD industries is preferred.
