    Job Description:

    Responsible to prepare 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using Creo 3D software, assist engineers in troubleshooting designs and drawings, and maintain engineering release and change documentation.

     

    Job Duties may include but are not limited to: Create or modify 3D models and engineering drawings for use in manufacturing. Verifying 3D models and engineering drawings meet the customers" needs while also adhering to Client's Engineering Standards. Use PLM software for storing CAD files, creating engineering notices, and maintaining Bills of Material. Create engineering notices for all 3D model and engineering drawing changes and creations that adhere to Client's Engineering Standards. Collaborate with Engineers and peers to troubleshoot design issues along with 3D model and engineering drawing issues and discrepancies. Complete projects in a timely manner to meet customer due dates and the Teamleads" project schedule. Communicate to the Teamlead any delays or issues that are encountered during a project so that the project schedule can be kept up to date.

    Job Responsibilities:

    * Create and/or modify 3D models and engineering drawings in conformance to our engineering standards and specifications for use in

     

    manufacturing.

     

    * Ensure engineering change documentation conforms to our engineering standards and specifications.

    * Assist engineers in troubleshooting designs

    * Interface with engineers and peers as necessary to ensure all facets of project"s scope are met.

    * Complete projects in a timely manner to meet customer due dates.

    * Communicate with Team lead daily on project status, delays and issues encountered.

    Skills:

    * Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.

    * Team player and detail oriented.

    * Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

    * Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.

    * Intermediate level experience with parametric 3d modeling and drafting softwares (i.e. Autodesk Inventor, Solidwork, Creo).

    Education/Experience:

    * 2 year technical school degree in computer aided drafting program or 2+ years equivalent experience.
