re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is looking for a talented, driven, and market focused Business Planning Analyst in support of its Reverse Logistics (“RL”) operations and Monthly Planning S&OP processes. This role will primarily focus on developing and maintaining critical planning tools, data systems, and automated reporting solutions, while also supporting monthly S&OP processes and capacity planning initiatives. The position requires strong technical expertise in SQL, database management, and systems architecture to create and maintain data tables, automated tools, and interactive dashboards that support global capacity planning. This role will work closely with operations teams, driving strategic initiatives around labor optimization while interfacing with external partners on planning allocations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytic background that enables them to create and manage site level planning models as well as global capacity planning, a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically about sustainability initiatives and the ability to work with and influence operations to build consensus on objectives. Technical ability to support dashboard creation supporting daily operations, track KPIs, and provide holistic performance measurements to be shared with internal and external stakeholders is required. The role plays a critical part in ensuring strategic commitments are made and operations are exceeding desired performance levels by using metrics to drive accountability and process improvements.
Key job responsibilities
- Working on a diverse project portfolio supporting Monthly Planning S&OP initiatives and strategy.
- Create new reporting & analytic opportunities by analyzing and understanding key planning processes.
- Cross-functional collaboration across multiple business teams, Operations, Commercials, Program Management and Finance leadership.
- Coordination of global analytic roll-ups in support of project work and reporting as needed
- Document writing and presentations on key initiatives used to influence necessary business actions benefiting the RL Network.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- 2+ years experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Minimum 2+ years experience with SQL
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Data Visualization Tools and metric creation
• Experience working with inventory management systems
• Warehousing, supply chain, inventory management, finance, vendor and/or project management experience
• Professional experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
• Experience creating and setting annual operating plan and presenting to senior management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
