    The expected base salary range for this position is $117,450 to $182,500. This salary range may vary based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.

     

    **JOB SUMMARY:** The Senior Director, Product Management & Strategy is a leadership position directly enabling the company’s growth, including revenue growth and market expansion, client retention and transition to next-generation platforms. The position is responsible for creating, implementing, and communicating the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for a line or portfolio of products and involves critical decision-making and end-to-end product lifecycle management for line or portfolio of products. This role’s responsibilities include owning and defining platform requirements in coordination with key internal stakeholders. This role ensures alignment of product strategies with business objectives and client needs, identifying, understanding and prioritizing features and functional releases for the platform, and translating the requirements for product launch. This position provides leadership to a team of product managers, setting strategic direction and adapting departmental plans and priorities to meet short-term service, operational, and commercial objectives. The Director is accountable for the performance and results of the team and is expected to coordinate cross-functional input, allocate resources, and ensure delivery of high-impact initiatives in alignment with customer and business needs.

    **ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

    + Provides strategic leadership for multiple product lines / portfolios with key strategic dependencies including:

    + Client Migration and Retention: Supports the transition of clients to new products and ensures continuity and high client satisfaction across migration activities

    + Growth and Market Alignment: Drives product evolution aligned with commercial strategy (revenue growth and market expansion goals) and ensures the voice of the customer informs investment decisions

    + Cross-Functional Execution: Acts as the connective tissue between Technology, Commercial, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure timely and market-relevant delivery

    + Revenue Enablement: Partners with BD/Sales and Marketing to ensure new and updated products are positioned for growth, adoption, and client retention including conducting demos for customer sales meetings

    + Client Engagement & Feedback: Engages directly with clients – for example, participating in client meetings, QBRs, and product demonstrations – to gather insights and feedback. Incorporates client feedback into product planning and strategy decisions to ensure offerings meet client needs.

    + Provides day-to-day leadership and direction to team members, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability within the team.

    + Adapts departmental plans to meet evolving commercial, operational and service objectives.

    + Oversees the execution of product roadmaps and initiatives.

    + Develops and implements long-term product strategies aligned with next-generation platform transitions and overall corporate strategic goals.

    + Discovers and validates market problems through:

    + Collaborating closely with internal product stakeholders for market-facing product offerings.

    + Reviewing industry guidelines, specifications, and regulations on an ongoing basis.

    + Interacting with users/buyers of the platform to collect and synthesize product inputs.

    + Meeting with current and potential customers to understand the customer voice.

    + Identifying industry disruptions that drive spending in the clinical market space.

    + Deeply understands customer needs and user centric design to define internal and external customer requirements.

    + Optimizes trade-off decisions during the development process.

    + Leads the assigned team, overseeing the implementation of core product families, and working with Technology for product financial accountability for performance.

    + Develops, maintains, and communicates product vision, positioning, value proposition, buyer/user personas, competitive information, and roadmaps for individual products within a product line.

    + Develops, owns and maintains roadmap and product family vision to gain stakeholder consensus and approval of product initiatives.

    + Coordinates the preparation of statements of work, RFI responses, and marketing collateral.

    + Delivers presentations/demonstrations at customer sites, trade shows, and via web conference.

    + Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    + Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science or related field.

    **CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:** None

    QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

    + Minimum of 12 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis or Software Engineering roles, with at least 5 years of experience in clinical research, healthcare technology, AI/ML/NLP, or data analytics.

    + Functional understanding of the broader clinical research process, clinical operations, and/or multiple clinical software systems (e.g. for clinical site support, patient engagement, safety, regulatory review, etc,).

    + Commercial software delivery experience in a 21 CFR Part 11 validated environment is a plus

    + Proven track record of successfully launching products.

    + Demonstrated ability to make rapid and complex decisions that optimize across multiple, and at times, competing objectives.

    + Strong leadership and team management skills.

    + Advanced strategic planning, execution and influence skills.

    + Results orientation, team player and holding self and others accountable for achieving results for customers and the business.

    + Demonstrated ability to operate and influence at the team level in a complex, matrixed environment with the ability to develop product strategies and execute across multiple sets of customers, internal stakeholders and products.

    + Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical matters to technical and non-technical individuals, and to all levels of management.

    + Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

    + Business acumen with experience driving product commercial success (e.g., contributing to revenue growth, market expansion or product profitability) is highly desirable.

    + Proven customer-centric approach – experience engaging directly with clients or end-users and translating client feedback into product improvements or new features.

    **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:** Overall responsibility of management including direction, coordination, performance, and evaluation of the assigned team and staff. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    **TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:** 10% - 20%
