Job Title: Commercial SuperintendentJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent for a leading construction general contractor specializing in retail and restaurant construction. The ideal candidate will oversee commercial interior tenant fit-out projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

+ Run commercial interior tenant fit-out projects.

+ Coordinate the trades and push the schedule to ensure timely project completion.

+ Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety requirements.

+ Engage multiple stakeholders, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to successfully deliver projects.

+ Create and maintain a Two Week Look Ahead schedule for the Project Manager.

+ Generate Requests for Information (RFIs).

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of three years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.

+ Proficiency with construction management software such as Autodesk and Procore.

+ Experience in scheduling and managing subcontractors.

+ Knowledge of building codes and safety procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with projects ranging from $500k to $3 million.

+ Valid Driver's License.

+ Tech-savvy with a strong understanding of commercial renovations.

Work Environment

The work is primarily based within Montgomery County and the DC Metro area, with some projects extending to Inwood, WV, and the Eastern Shore. Each project typically lasts 8-12 weeks, with one superintendent assigned per project. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockville, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $62.50/hr.
