    Job Description

    Due to increased business and growing customer demand, we are seeking a skilled and motivated CMM Programmer to join our quality team. This role is ideal for someone with experience operating CMMs who has begun exploring programming and is ready to take the next step. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

    Responsibilities

    + Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using PC-DMIS software (version 2024) and Model-Based Definition (MBD) data.

    + Perform conventional measurement tasks using a variety of hand tools and fixed inspection equipment.

    + Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) and in-process inspection reports for both internal teams and external customers.

    + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with aerospace standards.

    + Maintain accurate documentation and records using Excel and Word.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection processes and quality assurance.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3 years of CMM programming experience.

    + Ability to program CMM using models and engineering drawings.

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience performing first article inspections.

    + Basic Quality Systems knowledge (Control of non-conforming products, in-process controls & inspection, product & process audit, etc.).

    + Working knowledge of GD&T.

    + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with secondary education desired.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with scanning technology is a plus.

    + Must display a good attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to get along with others.

    + Ability to work independently and manage time to meet company objectives.

    + Willingness to work overtime if necessary to support customer schedules.

    Work Environment

    On-site with two shift options: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (flexible start and end time) or second shift Monday to Thursday from 3:30 PM to 1:50 AM (four 10-hour days). Overtime is available from 7 to 15 hours. The manufacturing environment is very clean, climate-controlled, and organized. The role involves collaborative work but also allows for independent tasks.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
