Job Title: Senior Electrical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with over 10 years of experience to join our dynamic design-build team. This role will focus on EV charging station infrastructure, including power distribution, permitting, and construction coordination. You will be a key technical leader, helping to enhance our capabilities in design-build delivery and EV systems, and to collaborate effectively with clients.

Responsibilities

+ Lead electrical design for EV charging station projects, including high-profile sites.

+ Develop and review electrical plans, load calculations, one-line diagrams, and construction documents.

+ Coordinate with civil, structural, and low-voltage teams to ensure integrated design solutions.

+ Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and internal teams.

+ Support business development efforts by providing technical input on proposals and scope development.

+ Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and utility requirements.

+ Mentor junior engineers and designers.

+ Travel to project sites as needed for design validation and construction support.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Professional Engineer license preferred).

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design, with at least 5 years in design-build environments.

+ Proven experience with EV charging infrastructure (Level 2 and DC Fast Charging).

+ Strong understanding of power distribution, utility coordination, and permitting processes.

+ Excellent communication and leadership skills.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical modeling software.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lenexa, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $68.00/hr.
