    We are seeking multiple Implementation Site Leads to support the FAA’s SAI program, a crucial part of the broader BNATC system modernization effort. These roles will be instrumental in managing site-level implementation activities across numerous airports anticipated in the coming year. Each Implementation Lead will be responsible for overseeing three airport sites, beginning with an initial survey period to ensure familiarity with processes and expectations.

    Responsibilities

    + Identify candidate radio sites at assigned airports.

    + Coordinate with site owners/operators for access and approvals.

    + Source and manage local contractors for installation activities.

    + Provide on-site inspection and sign-off for completed work.

    + Assist with physical installation tasks as needed.

    + Ensure quality and compliance with FAA standards.

    + Work with existing communications broker to identify and coordinate circuit installations.

    + Assist with site permitting processes where applicable.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven leadership and ability to lead subcontractors to complete installs.

    + Experience in equipment installation and site lead responsibilities.

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

    + Experience in field implementation, telecom, or infrastructure projects.

    + Experience managing contractors and ensuring quality deliverables.

    + Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50-75%).

    + Eligibility for US Secret Clearance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + FAA, TSA, or airport equipment install experience is a plus.

    + Familiarity with radio systems or communications infrastructure preferred.

    Work Environment

    The majority of this effort will take place at airports across the US (lower 48 states). When not on the road, you will have the flexibility to work from home.

    This is a Contract position based out of Vienna, Virginia.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
