Job Title: Electrical DesignerJob Description
The Electrical Designer will be responsible for designing electrical control panels for wastewater control systems. This role involves spending approximately 50-60% of the time on formal design tasks, while the remaining time will be dedicated to managing project timelines and schedules. The designer will ensure projects are on track, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and clients to provide updates on timelines.
Responsibilities
+ Design electrical control panels for wastewater control systems.
+ Manage project timelines and schedules to meet client expectations.
+ Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to provide updates on project progress.
+ Support project management by tracking projects and collaborating with outside consultants or contractors.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in electrical engineering and design.
+ Experience with electrical design and control panel systems.
+ Proficiency in using AutoCAD Electrical or similar software.
+ Knowledge of schematic design and electrical wiring.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering.
+ 2+ years of experience with electrical control panel design.
+ 2+ years of experience using AutoCAD Electrical or similar software.
+ Potential to transition into a hands-on field service role, troubleshooting, or PLC programming.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.54 - $43.27/hr.
