Job Title: SCADA EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SCADA Engineer to join our operations team in a fast-paced chemical blending and filling facility serving the car wash industry. This role is critical to the design, development, and maintenance of our automation systems, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production processes. You will be responsible for implementing and supporting Ignition SCADA systems, integrating with Allen-Bradley and other PLCs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize automation workflows.

Responsibilities

+ Design, develop, and maintain SCADA systems using Ignition by Inductive Automation.

+ Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley (RSLogix/Studio 5000) and other PLCs.

+ Integrate PLCs with SCADA systems for real-time monitoring, control, and data acquisition.

+ Support chemical blending and filling operations by ensuring automation systems are reliable and scalable.

+ Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to improve system performance and uptime.

+ Develop HMI screens, dashboards, and reports for operators and management.

+ Maintain documentation for automation systems, including network diagrams, control logic, and system configurations.

+ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards.

Essential Skills

+ PLC programming

+ Automation

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related field

+ 3+ years of experience in SCADA engineering, preferably in chemical or manufacturing environments

+ Proficiency in Ignition SCADA, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and other PLCs

+ Strong understanding of industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, Modbus)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with HMI development, scripting (Python preferred), and database integration

+ Familiarity with chemical blending, filling, or similar process control systems is a plus

+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of De Pere, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
