Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Environmental Project Manager. The ideal candidate will possess mid-level experience, ranging from 5 to 8 years, with a strong background in environmental projects.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize advanced scientific, geologic, and engineering analytical techniques for tasks such as interpreting complex hydrogeologic settings, analyzing chemical data from environmental media, and developing cost-effective remedial strategies.
+ Lead efforts in preparing work plans, subcontract specifications, and reports for remedial investigations, feasibility studies, long-term monitoring, remedial system designs, and remedial action plans.
+ Supervise and coordinate the work of junior staff on projects, providing technical direction and guidance to CADD/GIS operators, designers, technicians, and field personnel.
+ Prepare documents such as sampling work plans, CERCLA feasibility studies, proposed remedial action plans, records of decision, remedial designs, and remedial action plans.
+ Ensure compliance with RCRA, CERCLA, UST, CWA, and other relevant state and federal regulations.
+ Maintain OSHA training, including 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
+ Conduct technical writing for various project documents.

+ Knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, UST, and CWA regulations

+ Professional Engineer License (P.E or P.G)
Work Environment
This role involves both field and non-field related responsibilities, requiring up to 50 percent fieldwork and/or travel. The position is based in the Germantown office, with in-office attendance required on Wednesdays. Employees benefit from an ESOP program and the support of a large corporation.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $57.00/hr.
