    Job Description

    Join our team as a Construction Manager for a rewarding full-time assignment overseeing our renewable project in Toano, VA. Ideal candidates will have a background in construction management or as a superintendent, with experience in civil or electrical construction projects. Experience with solar projects is essential. You will be responsible for overseeing the work of civil subcontractors, addressing their queries, and ensuring the successful completion of tasks. Daily and weekly progress reports will be prepared using Procore software.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee the work of civil subcontractors.

    + Answer questions and provide guidance to subcontractors.

    + Prepare daily and weekly progress reports using Procore software.

    + Manage subcontractors and track materials.

    + Communicate effectively with clients.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

    Essential Skills

    + Construction management experience.

    + Experience in subcontractor management.

    + Proficiency in Procore software.

    + Experience in civil and electrical construction.

    + Background in renewable energy and solar projects.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in environmental remediation.

    + Ability to manage a civil subcontractor team of 10-20 people.

    + Civil construction experience.

    + Proximity to Charlottesville, VA for commuting.

    Work Environment

    Work will primarily be field-based at various project sites in Virginia. The role will typically follow the hours of the subcontractors being overseen.     Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract position based out of Callao, Virginia. Weekly pay, benefits package offered - per diem offered for traveling individuals.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
