    Job Description

    UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Physician Assistant for our Digestive Health department. This provider will collaborate with physicians with the treatment of clinic patients.

    + Working with clinic patients – Discussion of endoscopy reports and managing acute or chronic GI issues

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Licensure Requirements

     

    + Completion of an accredited graduate –level Advanced Practice Provider PA program.

    + Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e. Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.

    Professional Experience Requirements:

    + FNP experience preferred, will consider new grads

    Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

    + Demonstrated clinical competency.

    + Effective at collaborating with physicians in the treatment of patients

    + Strong interpersonal skills.

    + Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.

    + Effective interaction and care of patients

    + Documentation of medical records for accurate billing
