Job Title: Analytical Chemist

Pay Rate: $ 29.50/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)

**Overview** :

The Analytical Chemist will perform testing and analysis of samples and raw materials using chromatographic, spectroscopic, and wet chemistry techniques. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Analyze samples and raw materials using HPLC, GC, FTIR, TLC, pH, Karl Fischer, viscosity, potentiometric titrations, and other analytical methods

+ Follow established test methods and procedures to complete required analytical testing

+ Interpret and document results accurately; prepare reports and communicate findings to management and project teams

+ Perform root cause analyses for non-conformance events related to testing

+ Ensure compliance with all laboratory quality, safety, and procedural standards

+ Adapt to changes in priorities to meet project deadlines and deliverables

+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment

**Qualifications** :

+ Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field (required)

+ 1–3 years of post-graduate professional laboratory experience

+ Proficiency in HPLC and GC (required)

+ Working knowledge of pH, TLC, FTIR, Karl Fischer, auto-titrators, and wet chemistry techniques

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

+ Excellent organizational and bench skills with a focus on safety and accuracy

+ Experience with Empower, ELN, and LIMS software preferred

+ Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
