Job Title: Machine Operator Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator Specialist to join our team on the 11PM-7AM shift. You will be responsible for operating and managing machines that fabricate and weld metal, ensuring precision and quality in the production of items such as light poles and irrigation pivots.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and manage machines that fabricate and weld metal.

+ Load metal material into machines and ensure correct machine settings.

+ Perform one function of the mill line with precision.

+ Float and assist in areas of the mill line that require additional help.

+ Ensure accurate math and measurement calculations for proper metal cutting.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with CNC operation and machine operation.

+ Proficiency in welding and using a lathe.

+ Strong skills in math and measurements, including caliper, ruler, and metric measurements.

+ Ability to handle fractions and conversions accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a production environment is beneficial.

Work Environment

You will work in a production environment that is loud, clean, and can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Steel toe boots are required for safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.26 - $30.26/hr.
