    We're growing rapidly and are looking for a Technical Lead to join our consulting team for a strategic client engagement with a major commercial airline. This role requires a seasoned technical leader who can drive complex system integrations while mentoring development teams and ensuring delivery excellence.

    This position can be located remotely anywhere in the U.S. Infrequent travel to Dallas, Texas may be requested.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    Technical Leadership

    . Lead the technical design and implementation of enterprise-scale solutions integrating Salesforce with existing airline systems

    . Define and enforce architectural standards, coding best practices, and development methodologies

    . Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards across all deliverables

    . Make critical technical decisions balancing client requirements with technical constraints and timelines

    Team Management & Mentoring

    . Guide a team of approximately 6 developers across distributed locations

    . Provide hands-on technical mentoring to junior and mid-level consultants

    . Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and maintain technical documentation

    . Coordinate with client technical teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption

    Solution Architecture

    . Design scalable web applications and RESTful APIs that handle high-volume transactions

    . Architect Salesforce solutions including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications

    . Develop integration strategies between Salesforce and legacy airline systems

    . Create technical roadmaps aligned with client's digital transformation objectives

    Stakeholder Management

    . Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

    . Present technical solutions and recommendations to client leadership

    . Collaborate with project managers to ensure technical delivery aligns with project timelines

    . Manage technical risks and develop mitigation strategies

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    Technical Expertise

    . 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years in a technical lead role

    . Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, microservices architecture)

    . Extensive development experience integrating with Salesforce APIs

    . Proven experience designing and developing enterprise web applications

    . Deep understanding of API development and management (REST, SOAP, GraphQL)

    . Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)

    . Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

    Leadership & Soft Skills

    . Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams in fast-paced consulting environments

    . Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically

    . Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders

    . Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

    Desired Experience:

    Industry Experience

    . Previous experience in the commercial airline or travel industry

    . Understanding of airline-specific systems such as reservation systems (GDS/CRS), departure control systems, or revenue management platforms

    . Familiarity with IATA standards and airline industry regulations

    . Experience with passenger service systems (PSS) integration

    Additional Technical Skills

    . Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, Application Architect, System Architect)

    . Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms

    . Knowledge of real-time data streaming technologies

    . Experience with high-availability, mission-critical systems

    Other Information:

    CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $99,200.00 - $241,600.00.
