    .HVAC Technician

    **Pay:** $22–$23.50/hr plus $6.00/hr for health and welfare

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (year-round) with minimal overtime

    Responsibilities

    •Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.

    •Service boilers, air handlers, and units under 25 tons.

    •Diagnose system issues and ensure efficient operation.

    •Install and replace HVAC components per mechanical code.

    •Fabricate and install ductwork and piping.

    •Connect motors, controls, and ventilation systems.

    •Test systems for leaks and performance accuracy.

    •Repair or replace faulty electrical and mechanical parts.

    Essential Skills

    •Valid EPA license

    •Proficient in HVAC service, diagnostics, and maintenance

    •Ability to read blueprints and follow engineering specifications

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    •Previous experience in HVAC service required

    •Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

    •Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    •Willingness to be on-call as needed

     

    Work Environment

     

    The position is based at a military base with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available. You may be required to be on call.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $61360.00/yr.

     

    Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 year-round with minimal overtime.

     

    Base Pay: $23.50 hourly plus $6.00 an hour for health and welfare

     

    Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and other coverage: employer contribution offered to cover employee-only tier. 11 paid holidays, 10 days’ vacation, 7 days sick leave
