Job Title: CNC Swiss Machinist - $25-40/hr - 1st Shift
Job Description
Join our team as a CNC Swiss Machinist on the 1st Shift, working Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm, with occasional overtime on Fridays. You will primarily operate Nexturn and Hanwha Swiss machines, playing a crucial role in manufacturing precision parts.
Responsibilities
+ Perform full setups and changeovers independently.
+ Execute production runs ranging from 50 to 5,000 pieces.
+ Conduct 2-10 setups per week.
+ Read and interpret defense blueprints and understand GD&T symbols.
+ Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
+ Maintain tight tolerances down to +/.0001 of an inch.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience setting up Swiss machines, preferably in Aerospace/Defense.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T symbols.
+ Experience with micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Hanwha and Nexturn machines.

Work Environment
Work in a small to medium-sized machine shop with approximately 20 employees. The facility is in an older, well-lit, organized, and clean building. With around 40-50 machines, including 30 manual ones, the company has a strong presence in the Aerospace industry, contributing parts to the Mars Rover and various satellites. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
