Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, where you will be responsible for building crates and pallets for various OEM parts, using a range of tools and equipment to ensure precision and efficiency. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments, utilizing forklifts and overhead hoists, and performing data entry to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

+ Build crates and pallets for OEM parts using saws, hand tools, and power tools.

+ Assemble crates according to work order dimensions.

+ Load and unload products from incoming and outgoing trailers.

+ Operate overhead hoists and forklifts safely and efficiently.

+ Prepare bills of lading for all outgoing shipments.

+ Allocate incoming products within the warehouse.

+ Drive light deliveries to local clients.

+ Enter client information into the company database accurately.

+ Handle lifting of items up to 70lbs.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in shipping and receiving operations.

+ Proficiency in palletizing and inventory control.

+ Ability to operate a forklift.

+ Competency in data entry and handling bills of lading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or woodworking environment.

+ Ability to navigate computer systems.

+ Physical capability to lift up to 70lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $52000.00/yr.
