    Job Title: Packaging Technician

    Job Description

    As a Packaging Technician, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and performing CIP operations, adhering to sanitation directives. You will operate and troubleshoot all packaging and kegging equipment, ensuring the efficient and effective running of the line while minimizing losses. Your role will involve stacking, preparing, and coordinating the delivery of finished products to the warehouse, as well as achieving and recording quality benchmarks through various QC line initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    + Monitor and perform CIP operations in adherence to sanitation directives.

    + Operate and troubleshoot all packaging and kegging equipment.

    + Stack, prepare, and coordinate the delivery of finished products to the warehouse.

    + Achieve and record quality benchmarks through QC line initiatives.

    + Operate a forklift properly and safely.

    + Keep the line running efficiently and effectively, minimizing beer and material losses.

    + Utilize and troubleshoot all equipment on the Packaging/Kegging line.

    + Maintain departmental standards for efficiency, quality, safety, and sanitation during all shift rotations.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in packing, labeling, and production work.

    + Mechanically inclined with skills in machine operation.

    + Ability to ensure adherence to safety regulations and policies.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in enforcing and adhering to safety regulations.

    + Ability to ensure machinery is stocked with necessary materials such as glue, glass, crowns, labels, cartons, and cases.

    + Capability to maximize resources and minimize waste.

    Work Environment

     

    This position involves working on rotating shifts of 1st and 2nd, specifically from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with rotations every 6 weeks. The work environment focuses on maintaining high standards of efficiency, safety, and sanitation.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Milton, Delaware.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $45760.00/yr.
